About Me

I studied engineering in New Zealand, but like many students, I wasn’t sure if it was the right path for me at first. I found myself in the same position many of you are in now — unsure of what to expect or how to choose the right discipline. From building small wind turbines for people in the remote areas in Peru to doing a maintenance at the highest-altitude wind generator (Guiness Record), I’ve gained real-world experience that shaped my journey. My career has taken me across Australia and New Zealand, working on satellites, seawater infrastructure, and complex building projects.

Why I Created This Guide

As I progressed in my career, I mentored several graduates and interns, many of whom shared the same uncertainty I once had. They often told me they weren’t sure if engineering was the right decision or if they truly enjoyed the field. I created this guide to help aspiring engineers make confident choices from the start — avoiding the mistakes I made, saving time and money, and finding a career path they’ll be passionate about.
